yea i mean last year we had 23 year old viciedo as a starter plus reed,jones,axeface,quintana,danks etc so this bad farm system still brings up mlb ready players. this year was one of those years where the farm had nothing to do with our record, it was mainly the veterans plus age factor that did them in.

Our farm has been overblown by the media due to calling guys up. I mean, we won the game last year with 8 rookie pitchers. First team to ever do that.

IMO, they have no choice, because it's paper thin after him, Jones & Reed.

I would pick it up. He's done ok we need a good veteran. The FA market isn't good for bullpen so well see. Maybe if Crain is healthy we sign him again

No, that means no big spending.

Signing Choo, McCann (who I still want), and some random shitdick hitter and adding 50M in payroll isn't going to make the Sox an 80-some win team. Which is fine, that is partly how we got into this mess in the first place.

I am expecting international signings (Jose Abreu), and signing a two relievers. Wise spending that build for the future.
