if noesi can work on location he could be decent. pitch selection is awful and his location at times is predictable. he does have good stuff, he needs to work on some stuff.

I am not so sure anymore. I mean Flowers is probably right on the door step of ten players of the game including last night. He seems to call a good game as well. Honestly I can;t comment on his ability to throw runners out, but I keep waffling on him and think he's our catcher. I'm good with an upgrade too, but I don't see catcher as more important as a RH SP, a retooled BP, a 2b, a DH.

I agree. Complete catchers are rare now days. I really want to see what Wilkins can do as a DH or as a 1B and have Abreu do the other. I also really want to see Johnson up and get that speed up on the bases and a guy who looks like he can hit 280-300

The Milwaukee Braves used to have an expression about their pitching staff. It went......."Spaun and Sain and pray for rain". Perhaps our Chicago White Sox need an expression also.......Maybe " Quintana and Sale and pray for a gale".

Sorry about the eye test. I tried to edit or delete it but it obviously didn't work.

I just watched Ventura being interviewed after the 16-0 embarrassment. Calm as a cucumber. Whatever he is taking must be good shit!. He actually had the huevos to say that the "pitching staff has done well in spurts"? That is like saying that a guy who gets it on once a year, does well in spurts! Unbelievable crap out of his mouth.

Someone needs to lead this fucking team and kick some ass. Any SOB can make up a damn line-up card and move guys around. What.......was the team down because he benched Beckham and Dunn?????? Was that the reason they only got 6 hits against a nobody pitcher who pitched a shut-out against them? 16-0 after a 16-4 game on Sunday?? Thank God that HE sent the rain on the game before or that one would have been ugly also.

I didn't look at the box scores of the games but I do have a question. Did the Sox pitchers plunk anyone? I'm going to look that up because when the opposing team throws 35 runs at you in three games, someone has got to be moved back out of there because you just do not allow that shit to happen without some sort of response. Maybe they are reading the signs? Maybe they are taking the outside half away from the pitchers. I do not know but some guys in that those line-ups would have owies on their body today if a decent manager was in the dugout for the Sox.

Update: I checked and the Sox pitchers had one(count it) one hit batter against them after giving up 35 freeking runs? Don Drysdale must be laughing his ass off somewhere. Where in the hell is Bob Gibson when we need him?

83.3 LOB% is pretty damn good.

too be honest i didnt even look. anytime he is pitching there is an issue. ive tuned out of watching games when the BP comes in. ive seen him pitch enough to not like him. i havent looked at game logs but if he is pitching better great. that bp will be gutted and if not i wont watch the bp next year. they are a sad bunch.
