Unlike my golf game which has literally found water behind the tee box on a par three (way under with extreme back spin)

Who?

I was wrong. There really isn't an apparent outfielder in 2A or 3A that appears ready. They have a couple of good infielders in the two affiliates.

Trayce Thompson would be an option but he's in AA. (not ML ready yet)

So Gavin Floyd starts for Atlanta today as a spot starter for Santana. They have said that a 6 man rotation is out. If Floyd pitches reasonably well, would you consider a trade offer from us to Atlanta? What would you be willing to part with for him? He's signed for one year at $4million coming off of TJ.

Damn. Quintana continues to get plagued by a lack of run support.

Saw the stat last night and it got better again. Something like the last 11 games the pen has pitched 33 innings allowing two runs.

Lindstrom is now below average as a closer which represents a massive upgrade for him

I am concerned about our thin roster but given our schedule from both a strength and lack of days off aw well as injuries the team is ahead of my expectations. (How's that run-on Mrs. Vidas?)

The Sox are going to need to go after a solid number two starter if they have a chance at the play-offs. When Sales gets back, they will have
he and Quintana as a solid top two of three in the rotation and Danks as a number five. All veterans, all lefties. They need a right handed number two.
I would use all of my energy to talk the Cubs into trading their big righty if they are stupid enough to give him up.
