im all for it. please hahn! who knows? maybe they get him and they contend. the pitching is there. look at that angels lineup and the moves the jays made last year and look where those teams ended up in the standings. if you get headley and can get a decent backstop this team can be sleepers. we all know how negative i am...so if im saying this shit it means a lil something

Headley would be a nice get, although a trade for him would have made more sense a few years ago. Headley has injury concerns, however he's solid at 3rd base.

according to dan hayes the pads may have wanted quintana. pass pass pass. too much risk for a guy who may test the FA market. quintana is a solid 2b/3 under control till 2019

Juan Uribe - 3B - Dodgers
David Vassegh of AM570 radio in Los Angeles reports that the White Sox are attempting to sign Juan Uribe.
The White Sox have no clear plan for the hot corner, and Uribe could provide stability at the position if Marcus Semien isn't deemed ready. The 34-year-old infielder spent five seasons with the White Sox from 2004-2008, where he slashed .251/.293/.431 with 87 homers and 324 RBI.

No, we can;t do that. No. Please no. I would so rather do with Semien, Kepp, Garcia Beckham, M and M jacket guy in the scout seats than Uribe. I like Juan, but he's not helping us out at all as far as I can see. He's not right for this White Sox team.

In other words, the trade proposals have been plentiful and pretty attractive. Sale is one of the best pitchers in baseball and under club control through 2019 at a team-friendly rate, but if the rebuilding White Sox can swing multiple top prospects they might pull the trigger on a deal this winter. Sale, 24, posted a 3.07 ERA and 226/46 K/BB ratio in 214 1/3 innings this past season for Chicago.
