As much as Rex sucked at times, he still helped us get to a SB. He played lights out for half of that season and did more for the Bears than David Terrell or Michael Haynes or any of these idiots did. To put him in that category is disingenuous.

I agree that grossman was semi functional for a while- the reason I brought him up is because the attention given to rex as an underperformer eclipsed the fact that a 14th overall pick couldn't make the field.

Haynes-#14 in 2003. Grossman-22nd in 2003. Everyone still loves to crucify Rex (rightfully so) but Haynes was the worse overall decision.

Never understood why more people were not up in arms about Haynes.

Did he really only have 2 starts? I remember him being bad. i remember him getting a safety against Tennessee. that's about it. He was a major bust. I think we traded down from the fourth pick to get Haynes and Grossman, and didn't the Jets take Dewayne Robertson with that pick? Now there was a major ass bust too LOL.

Because Haynes was over and done with. He was out Of the League by 06 practically and none of that matter. He didn't care for football and sucked.

If we're counting QBs, Todd Collins wins. That guy wasn't just bad, he was putrid. He looked like Benjamin Button on his deathbed.

I actually liked Walt Harris. Did he go to SF? I forget, I know Parrish did (loved that guy)

Salaam and enis were dipshits. Bryan Cox was an animal in Miami and then played with his pants full of shit when he came here.

Mike Green was aggrevating because he started for years and was terrible from day one. I could not stand it and the pain just kept going. Him trailing receiver. Receiver catching ball. Him making tackle. Repeat...10 times a game. And the coaches seemed to love him for it. So....he wasn't the worst player as this thread has asked, but the most frustrating to me.

The worst player should be the absolute worst production from the highest investment. Pool Guy Gilmore was bad. 3rd round pick can't even make team. Or the Jets. I actually liked his college tape from San Jose State though, very explosive player against low competition. Didn't translate.

Biggest investment for worst production has to go to QB Rick Mirer.

No QB's though....so Chester Taylor, Orlando Pace, Adam Archuleta, Who did we really pay or draft that was terrible? Haynes, Enis (not his fault), Were there no free agents in the 90's? hahaha

No QB's isn't fair!!!! This team was superbowl ready minus a QB for 20 years!!! lol

QB: Mike Tomczak and all between Erik Kramer and Cutler.
RB: Rashaan Salaam, Curtis (p)Enis, Cedric Benson
WR: David Terrible, Curtis Conway
TE: Alonzo Mayes
O-Line: Andy Heck, Blake Brockermeyer, Mike Gandy, Stan Thomas, Todd Berger (J'Marcus Webb is closing in on this list)
K/P: Carlos Huerta, Todd Sauerbrun
D-Line: Bryan Robinson, Phillip Daniels, Alonzo Spellman
LB: Bryan Cox
CB: Walt Harris (he had his fans though. They believed that 70% of the world was covered by water, the other 30% by him)
S: Mike Green (they got rid of Tony Parrish so they could have a "Reservoir Dogs" defensive backfield?! Seriously?)
Head Coach: Wannie
