Mine would be Walter Payton (named my boy after him) because he was the reason I am so passionate about the Bears to this day. My first memory of football was watching him run wild in the early 80's. I'm from Charleston South Carolina so I didn't have a home team and fell in love with the Bears. Later in life I enjoyed watching Colvin, Brown, Urlacher, Parrish, Kramer, Marcus Robinson (before the back injury), Hester, and now my favorites are Fuller and Jeffery (like I said, born in raised in South Carolina).

Hard to put anyone above Payton, but since he is such a popular pick...I vote Dan Hampton.

The man consistently beat double coverage and could dominate anywhere on a defensive line. He was the engine of the "46" and was the reason opposing QBs had our linebackers in their faces in 2.4 seconds.

Payton with a close second being Mike Brown. Loved watching Waddle play as well. Man he could take some punishment.

I've had many but I gotta admit, my first favorite bear was willie gault. I loved sweetness like everyone else -- no question -- but willie gault was my first favorite.

Tough to say. I was always a big fan of Lach, Mike Brown, and you gotta love Peanut and Marshall. I'd say it's a toss up between Brown, Peanut, and Marshall, mostly because they seem to be more personable and care so much more about the Bears in general, but Urlacher was so much more fun to watch.

Payton is the clear choice for me, but there is not nearly enough mentioning of Peanut. The guy embodies everything an athlete and person should be.

Aside from Walter, Wilber Marshall was my favorite as a kid. Urlacher later down the line. Present day, probably Fuller.

Dick Butkus. He intimidated other teams like nobody before or since. And most of the time, he did it with little or no supporting cast around him. A real shame he never got to play in a Super Bowl. Admittedly, a lot of the hits he made on opposing players would probably be considered illegal today, but they were a sight to behold. Always been my favorite Bear since I was a kid. Mr. Mean on the field.
