Simply put what five pitchers should be in our rotation on April 1st.
I want this:
Demp
Garza
Z
Wells
Cashner (hoping he turns in Wood of 1998 lol)
0 Chance, won't waive NTC.
So the question -- after seeing Wood leave town this winter -- is obvious: Could Zambrano ever imagine pitching for another team?
'No,'' he said, tapping his hand on that big ''C'' logo over his heart. Then without much hesitation...
''Well, if I do,'' Zambrano added in a hushed voice, ''I want it to be in a White Sox uniform.''
What?
This isn't the kind of thing that will go over well with Cubs fans.
''I grew up as a White Sox fan. That was my favorite team,'' Zambrano said. ''I apologize to the Cubs fans for saying this, but you don't have control when you are 6, 7 years old of your feelings. Your feelings are with the team you see as a child. For me, it was the White Sox.''
unless you are in his family and sleep in the same house with him, saying that he "wont" waive it is insane. there are always numberous reports that players wont waive NTC and they get traded. If he has a chance to go to the yankees and possibly win, i bet he does it in a heart beat, if the white sox called asking for him, he would 100% jump on that oppurtunity to play for ozzie and to play for the team he was a fan of as a kid.....yes, if you missed the article he grew up a sox fan.
Garza
Zambrano
Dempster
Cashner
Wells or Coleman (see in ST)
I voted
Zambrano
Garza
Dempster
Wells
Gorzelanny
Cashner could spot start, but I like him and Wood A LOT as our 7th and 8th inning guys...especially since Angel Guzman is basically dead armed now...
Z and Kosuke for Morel, Viciedo, and Jordan Danks. How's that?
How can you give a guy with like 60 IP a spot, but a guy who has been consistent the last couple of years has to fight for a spot in ST?
Nope, no way Gorzo is on this team come Opening Day. In fact, I think he will be traded within the next week or so.
no.
there would have to be some money taken back brotha
Who, Wells and Coleman?
Wells has been very INconsistent. Lights out or terrible from game to game.
So now we use single games to evaluate players? In that case, Z is the best pitcher ever, because he threw a no-no once. That doesn't make sense. Wells really isn't anywhere near as bad as you think. Especially considering his 3.39 RS. That's awful.
