Xplosive, renaissance man...

You'd rather stare at a beautiful face of a chick who won't bang you and talks about shopping, then have dinner with fascinating monumental historical person? Life's pretty drab?

I would much prefer have dinner with a fascinating monumental historical person over Brittney Spears. The thing is, you'd have to go down the list of fascinating monumental historical people a hell of a long way before the first sports-related person was mentioned, far less a Bears-related person.

Anyone who chooses Britney Spears off of this list is a goddamned idiot.

If forced to pick off this list, it would probably be Jacques Cousteau for me

Considering some of these people are dead, I'm going to have to go with Ditka, since I know he likes to have a good time.

There's a Chuck Klosterman piece on Brittany Spears that is just classic. I'll try to find link... it's the first chapter of his book, "IV"... called 'Southern Fried Sex Kitten', and it's just classic. It is strictly due to this article that I'd love to have dinner with her.

That and that it would gain status dining with that...

Trust me...

Ditka has a reputation for being a cheap bastard and would probably make you pay for the whole thing.

Never met Ditka but his wife was always a good tipper whenever I caddied for her. (years ago)

I wouldn't argue that. But with all the Ditka votes, I think some would disagree.

Let's see, interesting sports figures? Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Thorpe.

Yes, would you rather join them for dinner, or them join you?

Hideki Tojo

My dad was studying to be a Catholic priest when Pearl harbor was attacked. The next day he joined the Navy, served in the Pacific, and decided the priesthood wasn't for him.

Thanks Tojo, get whatever you want.

Mike Ditka - Would be intersting for some. But I have already met him a few times at the Admirals club at Laguardia.
Charlie Chaplin - Dead
Sid Luckman - Dead
Chubby Checker - No thanks
Richard Dent - Eh...
Kevin Matthews - Can he even hold utensils anymore?
Hideki Tojo - Dead
Britney Spears - Will likely put out
Jacques Cousteau - Dead
Billy Mumy - Not a lost in Space fan...

Seems like a relatively easy choice to me.
