WRONG! you protect your investment especially a pitcher who has an unorthodox delivery. He is our ace, take the miles off of him. No need to have him out there stressing his body with that delivery in a meaningless season

ROFL! yes he had tommy john and was shut down in the middle of a pennant race while healthy due to concern over innings. chris sale is a high risk injury candidate and it is pointless throwing him out there for 115 pitches and let alone the rest of the year....but hey he is the next frank thomas and stuffzzz. pound sand

Davey Johnson or Ryne Sandberg
I want a manager with experience managing a young team and being successful at it. Davey has done that a few times with several different teams most recently the Nationals and Ryne did a great job in the minors as a manager.
But what I want and what will happen are not the same.
I would like the same guy two guys I wanted for Ozzie's replacement.

LaRussa would bring the experience, attention to detail and fire this team will need to teach these young kids how to play the game once the dust settles. I love Ventura but he is just too laid back.

Were you incarcerated during this time frame of what Must See TV was for NBC? It says nothing of the best shows at all. It means that when they are on you watch. When Frank batted the folks went to the bathroom afterwards. Sale is in that class. He's don't miss as you never know when someone is going to look foolish.
