The Bears and Jay Cutler?

When asked if the Bears were the team to beat in the NFC, Dilfer laughed and said no because Jay Cutler isn't a good enough quarterback.

Should we remind you Trent, that the only reason you have a Super Bowl ring is because of the 2000 Ravens defense. Your amazing 12 touchdown, 11 interception season is dark compared to what that defense did for you..

It is hilarious to see Trent hating on Cutler like that.

I forgot was Dilfer a good QB and was his career long?

Let's see, NO, so tell Dilfer to STFU. They get dumb asses as ESPN analysis.

Trent Dilfer is one of the absolute worst ESPN analysts. He ALWAYS throws in a comment about how great he thinks he was as a QB and how he would never do what this or that player did. He's nothing more than a self-absorbed moron who thinks he's hot shit when he was nothing more than a backup who happened to win a ring w/ one of the all-time best defenses in the '00 Ravens.

I take anything he says w/ the smallest grain of salt, because he's simply inept at having an unbiased opinion about anything in the NFL

Trent dilfer is horrible. but at least espn analysts are better than the ex-players they have on NFL Network. Deion Sanders, jamie dukes and brian baldinger are all retarted

Just because Dilfer wasn't a great qb doesn't mean he can't criticize other quarterbacks, and frankly he's not unjust in his criticism. Cutler seems to play either really well or really poorly. He does play well more often than he plays bad, however, is someone really crazy to think he might put up a bad performance or or two late in the season or in the playoffs? You certainly don't have to agree with him, but his point isn't without validity.

I would rate Dilfer's retardedness ahead of Showtime, but yea dukes, baldinger, and that ex-Bengals guy can't remember his name but he's just nuts

Dilfer also did have a long career... He had years and years of being a game managing QB on great defensive teams and finally was able to win in the playoffs when he got there with Baltimore when he had a great running game better than anything the Bucs had allowing them to still play effective offense.

Trent isn't an analyst just because he has a super bowl ring, why the hell would Tim Hasslebeck or Jessie Palmer be ESPN analysts, those guys were not even legit starters in what they broadcast about.

Thats not the point.

Difler contridicts himself. He says The Bears aren't good enough to win the Super Bowl or be the team to beat in the NFC because Jay Cutler is not good. He says they have a good enough defense, but the quarterback isn't good.

Well, Dilfer wasn't good at all. But he had a great defense.

Waldo, I never am one to rip on your grammar...but dammit son, add the "ed" to the end of "You'll be miss" in your signature. We're not changing him into a woman.

Had a great running game too, people keep forgetting that. Rookie Jamal Lewis and Priest Holmes as the backup was a great attack and was able to play consistent.

Trent Dilfer was one of the shittiest players of the 90s. He won a Super Bowl thanks to the second-greatest defense of all time.

And Jay Cutler must be getting really tired of getting criticized by this douchebag. Jay is ten times the QB Dilfer ever was.
