Why is Luol Deng getting a free pass on offense?

Its kind of sad how Deng's offensive efficiency is looked at and the defense, not so much. He has been a fantastic on ball defender this year. And the defensive schemes have worked fairly well also. He has worked hard to fit himself into this offense. When he was the best player on the team he wasn't that efficient offensively...but he was the top player on the team. So again, lets not expect the unexpected when going into the season, we just wanted him to play at his past level on a consistent basis...and to stay healthy.

I don't think anyone is ignoring Deng's defense.

Even in the first post, I said I'm not upset with Luol Deng because he's rebounding the ball well and playing great defense.

But hat still doesn't get rid of the fact that there is a major problem with having your leading shot taker be an inefficient scorer.
