Wild or Avalanche?

The wild are beating the Avs up nicely though. Are the Wild known as a thuggish team? I haven't seen any cheap shots but Id say the Wild aren't shying away from contact tonight.

From my limited recollection of when they played Chicago last year, they played the Blackhawks tough and took the Hawks to 5. I wouldn't call them dirty by any means, and I frankly cheer for them to do well when not playing Chicago.

yeah...they are one of the plodding low scoring thug teams like the Blues, Bruins. But they have not been able to cause us much trouble at all. The Avs goalie has done well against us, but I think we can beat him when we have to over 7 games.

I am optimistic we can emerge with either, and maybe overconfident in our past against Minny, but we have owned them.

Playoff hockey is great!

Never been much of an NHL fan but I've been into the Wild in the playoffs the last 2 seasons and that gets me into the playoffs a a whole. Something to root for I guess. Hopefully they can last for another round.

The Avalanche seem like the more skilled team. Their passing, shot setups and speed are better than the Wild. The wild keeps getting open looks but they cant seem to connect with each other on the setup.

The one word that comes to mind to describe the Wild is clumsy. Of course I dont know shit about hockey and this is after only watching two periods of the Wild play.
