No it didn't. D-Rose was really the only one who wasn't a ball hog who obtained minutes.

LBJ better player.....Kobe better scorer

D-Rose better player....D-Will Better PG

derrick rose didn't really have the ball in his hands. it's hard to call him a pg. The times where he did bring the ball up the court, he made smart decisions. Also the all star teams don't really play defense, so no one's going to collapse on rose. If no one's collapsing on rose, he can't pass it to a random open player. That's like 80% of his game. Draw attention, and pass. Rose has completely redefined what it means to be a pg, so it's hard to call rose the worse pg.

Has an All-Star game MVP ever determined who would be regular season MVP?
Answer is no.

When Rose did bring the ball up the court, he almost never saw it again after making the first pass. I guess that's to be expected when you have 4 all-stars to pass the ball to.

There was one play when Lebron passed out to him on the 3 point line and he missed a wide open shot. His outside shot was off last night, but the few times he got the chance to drive to the hoop he looked good.

There's no way the ASG should impact the MVP voting. That's just silly.

It hasn't in the past to my knowledge...it won't now. It was an exhibition. By the way, Kobe won the MVP. The best player on the floor was Lebron James...

Lebron has the better body and is way more athletic than Kobe. But in my eyes it´s Kobe´s mind and his offensive variety that makes me think he´s still the guy who would decide a series to his favor.

Just saying don´t write him off you block.

Well, I say congrats to Kobe for winning MVP, congrats to lebron for doing what only Jordan has done in the ASG and that's get a triple double.

to be honest, it seems to me like LeBron and Amare was the only ones on the EAST that really wanted to win that game

Hard to say LeBron was "HOGGING" the ball when he had a triple double, he just started being more aggressive instead of just standing around and watching Amare and Bosh and Howard throw up 3's

Rose was a little too passive, I guess he just wanted to be respectful to the Veterans but Rose will have his moments in the All Star Games

All Star games means absolutely NOTHING as far as the Regular Season MVP
