This makes the Oscars an even bigger joke. The fact they just let him sit there for the remainder of the show and then get a fucking award after that is a bit mind-blowing. At least make the guy leave after that, still give him the award but don't grant him the ability to accept it in person. Any other "normal" person would have essentially been arrested on the spot, but it's Will Smith, so no problem I guess.

Too bad Will aint protect his wife when his kids' friend was fucking her silly. Dude fucks his wife and he let Jada parade him around on TV like a cuck. But no, a bald joke is the final straw.
Is all that shit real? I don’t really follow celebrity news.

Do people with alopecia lose hair everywhere?
Worked with a guy who was tasked with running the electrical on a major high profile public project that was grifted to death, and went waaaay over budget and schedule through no fault of his...the stress caused him temporary alopecia, and he lost all his hair from head to toe. It returned after some years and is normal (other than he was mostly bald already) since he retired.

Jada was introduced to Alsina by her son Jaden. She and Alsina hooked up when her and Will were allegedly on break and then when news broke about it, Jada and Will appeared on her talk show to address it.

Don’t care enough to read about it. ?

But I’ll take your word for it.

And ever since, they claim their marriage is open now, right? Funny how they consider it open after the fact.

Agreed.

Also, Rock's response was great.

I actually tuned in for about 20 mins last night in the beginning. I did miss the ***** slap but I have since seen all the clips.

I find it jacked up that no one is mentioning Amy Schumers joke in her opening monologue. She told her own joke about the couple.

Schumer commented on how several people in the audience(all males) failed their covid tests and she asked them all to please step to the stage(they all did) so she could perform her own thorough search(sexual assault #metoo) When she got to Will Smith she said "Will Smith you're on my list too but apparently Jada has approved it so come on up!" This was a comment on their open marriage.
My point is that Jada didn't rush the stage to slap Schumer.

I feel like Will Smith was the target of jokes and this one went too far and he lost his cool. I'd actually assume it was all fake until I saw the clip off him screaming "keep my wife's name out yo fukkin mouf"

Either way, HuGE win for the oscars! ? ✌️. Everyone is talking about it!

The irony is earlier that night Regina Hall made fun of Jada and Will's marriage but I guess Will figured he can't go up there and slap a woman.

It's the Oscars. People in the audience are sometimes the butt of jokes. And nobody in the history of the event has ever been such an asshole they responded with violence until last night. The fact people defend that is insane.

Yes, if Will Smith thought it was over the line, he could have take it up with Rock offstage.

But Will Smith's real issues are with his crazy wife who has publicly humiliated him, and he thought he would look like a man "defending her", when in fact he laughed at the joke and only responded when she gave him "the look". He wasn't defending her honor. He was trying to save face for himself.
Again, I never said I agreed with what Will did. I'm just saying that jokes affect people differently. You can't just say something and expect everyone to be cool with it. I wouldn't have done what Will did, but I understand if he felt the need to stand up for his wife. If a comedian was up there making fun of someone's fat ass wife and her weight issue, I'd understand if a man went up there to slap the guy. All I'm saying is that jokes affect people differently.

The irony in all of this is that now everyone knows she has alopecia, and now even more people are going to make fun of her. If he ignored it in the moment and talked to Rock backstage, this whole thing would be over.

The August Alsina stuff is overblown too. I'm pretty sure Will knew about it. It's an open secret in Hollywood that he and his wife have an open marriage. I think it first surfaced when Will was doing a movie with Margot Robbie and they got a little too comfortable. I doubt that Will didn't know about August. Will is just better at keeping his affairs private.

Yeah. His kid's friend was piping her out for years actually. Now, Jada claimed they were "over for that period, so there was no transgression," which may very well be true, and even if not I'm sure Will Smith has had girls other than Jada in the last 25 years.

It's just weird as shit to normal people tbh, when your wife publicly admits to having had a relationship with another dude for years while you were married. Weird Hollywood shit and no matter how out there you are, that's always going to cut deep. It's only natural. "My wife was in a relationship with another man for years." Even if you were "over," it's just bad.

I am mostly concerned about how the women of Twitter feel about having had to witness such violence.

Will Smith should be drowned in a vat of his own toxic masculinity!
