I am getting very bad vibes reading this stuff. We didn't even make it a week before the problems are starting. I hate when I read that an offensive lineman gets hurt, somebody takes their place, now they are hurt too. That stuff just seems to never end. Hopefully it does now. It is tough when you read 2 free agent signings are out, and one of them most likely for quite a while.

We could sign that Urlacher guy pretty cheap.

You really think so? He's got a job that's probably paying him around $1M a year with Fox. Now look at his old $2M offer, subtract that he'll have to walk away from the Fox gig it's only $1M more. Actually after tax he'd be coming to play for what, $500K?

If Urlacher wasn't playing for $2M then I doubt he'll take that contract now.

I bet Major Wright cheap shotted him.
I still haven't read your post, but since you brought us this:

I'll just agree with whatever you say.

I was at camp today. Wasn't paying attention to what happened prior to the injury, but it was during a drill to start practice. The training staff was working him pretty good. Thought it might be just a cramp at first, but he was limping pretty bad. Luckily, the early prognosis seems to be that it's just a calf, and he'll be week to week.

It's a shame Urlacher burned bridges. If bostic doesn't pan out immediately and Williams is hurt long term Urlacher would have bee an intriguing stop gap measure. I think he might have reconsidered the offer after not latching on anywhere. FWIW williams has no guaranteed money in his deal.

Step off the burned bridges train please. He made it quite clear to the Bears and perhaps the Vikings, that 2 mill was not enough to make the preparation for an NFL season, so he retired. I think that he earned that right over the years, and that it is obvious to most Bear fans, with the exception of a few.

Get Urlacher back. Then he won't have to worry about the Bears winning a Superbowl without him.

Neither has DJ Williams but you still signed him.

You're on ignore but I saw these two stupid ass posts quoted and wanted to respond. First, who's this "you" you speak of? Does emery post here? Second, Emery signed Dj to a one year contract with minimal money and no guaranteed money in case something did happen. Pretty smart move it would appear. If he plays well enough, you've got him for cheap. If not, nothing's really lost.

Yeah I mean how could emery not see that Williams would get hurt! You clown. Also, Williams is expected back by the start of the season. Why are you talking like he's out all, or any part, of the season?

Now you're back on ignore so I don't have to lose any intelligence listening to you ramble incoherently. Thanks in advance for the dislike rep!
