The NHL made the Blackhawks not score on the 5 on 3.
The Blackhawks beat themselves today. The shitty calls on both sides made it a snooze fest, but the better team missed out on 2 points today. Oh well. At least the points went to a crappy Eastern conference team rather than a division foe. Their performance against the Jets was of greater concern, but Chicago will still finish close to the top of the West.

I just fired up the dvr and watched "selected portions" of the game at home. Two things caught my attention...visually, the game looked really good, it's amazing how NBC and Comcast are the same company, but the games on CSN are so shitty compared to any other network. The other thing is that the game should be in 5.1 surround, but wasn't. In the immortal words of Jerry Lundegaard..."what the christ"!!

NBC is really odd. Some sports have full blown surround audio, and others, namely hockey, don't always. I don't get it.
