I don't see how he would have a role on this team. Nazr can pretty do what he does. If I need somebody to put Lebron on his ass, I know I already have a guy who will do that.

LOL at how this thread has turned to Thibs hate. We haven't even signed Perkins yet. He'd be nothing but pure insurance at this point. He would barely play. He wouldn't take minutes from Taj or Niko. Honestly I could care less if we get him or we don't.
Who I want is Gary Neal when he's bought out. The last thing the Hawks need in ANOTHER perimeter threat (which is the likely destination according to most sports writers). Plus if we get Neal, it will shut everyone up about needing another wing player, so that's a positive. That and he's a good 3D player.

Brandon Knight is the replacement for Dragic/Thomas so it's very possible he could be bought out. Would be a good pickup if he becomes available.

I'll give you one, and it might be the only one, but this would be for his toughness. This would be, imo, a direct move towards us maybe meeting Wash in the playoffs. He gives us an enforcer that can go chest to chest with Nene in a playoff series.
I think it would be a great move, and it shows me that the Bulls learned from getting beat up last year against Wash. Nene may have his way with Noah, but he won't push Perkins around. :nope:

Too many people are getting too carried away with this. There's a good chance it's not even true. So, once it's "leaked" that Cleveland wants Perkins, it's convenient that they follow up with Chicago also. Like it's not obligatory to prompt one team to commit by pitting two teams against each other so to put fear in Cleveland. In other words, this was probably fed to yahoo to scare Cleveland, especially considering size was an issue the last time against the Bulls.
