If he isnt, he will be the best defensive SS in the league. His range is UnGodly. No disrespect to Russell, but Lindor could be an Ozzie Smith level.

I haven't seen a ton of Lindor. I know he's good and all but having grown up in St. Louis during Smith's prime I have a hard time putting anyone in his category. The fact he did what he did on what amounts to painted concrete where the ball is on top of you in a blink is amazing.

Really poor AB by Bryant. Deliver comes in cold with bases loaded and Bryant is swinging at first pitch and hits a grounder to third. Hope the lead holds.

Seems like the Cubs have left at least 3-4 runs on the bases

Maybe a trade because 10 million for a guy to make 30 starts isn't the worst value. Cubs don't need/want a lot back but could do the trade for a situational lefty and move Montgomery to the rotation (potentially).
