Small ball... The indians are doing all of the small things. Take an extra base on an error. Hustle down the line. Advance a runner anyway they can..... Cubbies getting outplayed. Just sitting there trying to hit it out of the park with the wind blowing in.... Not even trying to do whatever it takes to either get on base or advance the runner. IE shortening the swing on 2 strikes, bunting, stealing.... etc.
The poor D is just compounding the problem....

Hopefully whatever happens, whether the Cubs win or lose. they will learn to adapt.... The WS showing has been very dissapointing so far.... Chocking it up to being very young.... Hopefully the plate discipline and the ability to adapt will come soon...

I mean if people have it to spare and want to go there then that's their business but they've surely gotta have some buyer's remorse. Billy Corgan was talking about how he hates all the "celebrity" fans because he thinks they're really fair weather. This series is about the closest thing baseball has ever had to the Super Bowl as far as the insane ticket prices. I've always thought of the Cubs as a more "blue collar" team and that's why they have so many fans so it really is kinda lame to think that the people who really do support them all the time can't even sniff a seat in such a desired series.

You can't keep rolling guys out there who aren't doing shit....this isnt august....you need to adapt quickly and on the fly (like the marlins dumping dlee to the 7-8 hole from the 3 hole, like heyward getting benched).
Baez is a bad matchup vs a roster or rhp that throw off speed shit....hes a defensive wiz who's swing and plate discipline has gone....pull the cord quickly and use him late as a defensive replacement or vs miller
