Man, too much obsession with me. Schiltz was popular in the early 70's and before. Then it got worse. There was a saying "Schiltz will give you the shits". Ever hear that? Probably not since you weren't there. I haven't drunk a Schiltz since 75 or 76. Something like that. Not many my age back then did either. I'm glad it's back. I think you could have made it simpler to accept my post at face value tbh. Do me a favor and stop bothering me. If you can help it.

I you sure your not confused with Strohs? That stuff gave you the shits. Add Blatz to the list as well.

How many have you had?

Chocolate? I have to of tried at least 5 by now.

Admittedly one of them was that Chocolate Jalapeno beer I reference in the OP.

I think the 4 other cases were when I was either at Chicago Ale Fest or out with family.... if they have a chocolate beer, my mom and/or sisters will try one and usually they hate it and then give it to me to finish because they don't want to drink it.

EDIT: If you were just asking, beers in general?

I've had 19 beers today, but they were all Michelob Ultras so I am in gr8 shape.

Whats with all the hate in your heart for Leinenkugel? I'll admit it isn't my favorite but can be a nice cheap change of pace if I don't want to spend $13 for a six pack of microbrews.

It's been building since college, 20 years ago. LOL

That is probably 1/16th of chocolate beers that I've had. Those are some recommendations for you, and many of these are local brews or beers that are readily available in the Chicago market.

(I should have been clearer, but after I typed out my list I got called away for a second)

#hammsbros

even your scandinavian brewmaster metal friend liked hamms, no?

I've never drank any beer that tries to incorporate chocolate and thought "Yum, chocolate"

Might as well just make a super bitter IPA and be like "Dark Chocolate flavored".... yes I can taste the bitterness.... it is like an NFCnB post!

Young's Double Chocolate Stout is great.
