I studied abroad twice so far. Once in Chile, and once in Spain. South American women love American guys. I was in a nightclub with a few Chilean friends and all of my Chilean friends were showing their IDs to get into the club. All I had was a copy of my passport, so I showed that. They let me in free just because I was American. I also hooked up with a Chilean chick that night because she found out I'm American. She didn't believe me at first, so i pulled out the passport copy again and she went crazy. Good times.

Spanish chicks were a little more reserved. You had to be the one to always start the conversation. Even then, they're not as crazy about American guys. I actually hooked up with a Brazilian chick while in Spain. Again, South American women love American guys.

I also visited England, Scotland, Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Italy, France, and Ibiza while studying abroad in Spain. Belgium was probably my favorite, although the Irish were the most welcoming people I've ever met.

Wales was a lot like Ireland... spent time there and may be the nicest people I've ever met. Closed a Pub one night and the owner had everyone clear out but told us to stay seated. He locked the door and said he couldn't sell any more beer because it was illegal at that time... but he said there is no law that says he can't give it away. We sat there for a couple more hours drinking, talking, playing darts and laughing up a storm. Great time... great people.

Spent 3 years in the UK. Travelled to Italy, Spain, Germany, Panama. Still visit Panama regularly (in-laws). Would love to move to Panama or even just get a vacation home.

My brother's gf has a little house in Costa Rica and they say they are gonna move there in the next couple of years, maybe try to open a b&b or something. Tons of USers living cheap down there. Me, I love to travel but I feel like the time to actually live somewhere else was about 30 years ago.

I went to Spain last May. Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, and San Sebastian. San Sebastian is one of my favorite cities in the world!! Freaking awesome place..

That's really cool! I lived in Valencia but visited Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, Seville, Malaga, Cordoba and Toledo. Wish I could have gone to San Sebastian though.

So just 'Murica huh?

There are a few other places I could live... Singapore and Switzerland... and like I said, New Zealand but I haven't been everywhere. Still more of the world to see.

Dude you need to get there. Food will blow your mind. The food is good in the rest of Spain but San Sebastian takes it to a whole other level. All the Pintxos bars and they also have several Michelin restaurants as well if you want fancy. July/August is beach season so a good time to go if you want get a bit of everything in one spot; culture, food, and beach.

Zaragosa (Zaragosa AFB), Moron De La Frontera (Moron AFB), and Seville (Rota NS). The Air Force was good to me travel/assignment wise. I really enjoyed Seville. Met a young lady while site seeing and spent the day with her and her friends/family. Very friendly people, welcoming/warm. Loved the Culture.
