You can bang.... in the short windows of time you get in between different battles.... in transit to new planets, that kinda thing.

But in the end you fight and fight and suffer and suffer, but you are unlikely to ever die because you are nearly invincible, and your life is sold to fight this war so that your entire planet does not have to.
