This is a fact, Lamar is better than Justin at this point of their careers. The bigger point the OP was likely trying to make is that Justin isn't horrible and if surrounded with better coaching and playmakers he can likely attain similar numbers as a league MVP.
But fields is horrible. Hes ranked 22nd in the league.
ok lets go by the eye test,.....the Bears oline pass blocking sucks...it needs to get better. at least middle of the pack.....

If you believe the Bears pass blocking was decent, you need help

Pressure cause disruptions in pass plays...its not just about sacks...I would hope you understand this...

Bears oline is currently ranked 12th by PFF

Justin Fields holds the ball longer than any NFL QB in the league. Improving the offense line will do very little until Fields learns to read the field a lot better.

Every game there are 3-4 plays Fields stares at open receivers and refuses to throw the football

PFF ranked them overall which includes their run block....

I'm sorry you have zero ability to make your own football judgements...

Would you want Caleb or Lamar nexx year? Would the Ravenz even trade Lamar for Calebz?

JUST a FYI:

Justin Fields vs. Lamar Jackson last 17 games.

One is about to win his 2nd MVP, the other is trash according to mouth breathing window lickers:

Fields: 29 total TD
4,192 total yards
19 giveaways
84.7 rating

Jackson: 24 total TD
4,449 total yards
15 giveaways
94.3 rating

Are these really the right stats? I thought Lamar had a year where he almost threw or did throw for close to 4000 in a year.

Baltimore is obviously proven that you can win with Lamar! Theres no doubt that for a defensive coordinator, this type of qb is a nightmare to defend bc of all the broken plays and having to worry about the QB running. It’s easier to prepare for the statues like Brady, manning etc- still hard to stop but there’s less variables to worry about- simple as that!

So because Watt says PFF sucks it sucks? Thats your argument? What analytics tool do you use for oline rankings then?

The fact is the Bears oline in every metric is either above average or average at worse. Fields holds the ball too long. There is countless information on him taking the longest time to throw the football. Receivers are usually open too

If you want to look at what PFF gave the bears for pass blocking it was 23rd in the league

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
  1. Michigan Wolverines

1 . Teven Jenkins - Left Guard / Right Guard... PFF Grade: 72.9 (10th among 65 qualifying OGs)

2 . Braxton Jones - Left Tackle...PFF Grade: 68.7 (33rd among 70 qualifying OTs)

3 . Darnell Wright - Right Tackle...PFF Grade: 62.4 (52nd among 70 qualifying OTs)

4 . Nate Davis - Right Guard...PFF Grade: 52.9 (54th amongst 65 qualifying OG's)

5 . Lucas Patrick - Center...PFF Grade: 50.5 (29th among 32 qualifying Cs)

So.... That's the top 12 OLine based on having only one top 10 olineman on the team???

I literally posted a link that shows they graded them 19th over all and 23rd in pass blocking...

its actually 19th

Exactly. People throw out these paywall stats like they are verifiable proof that they are smarter than the ignorant masses that can only use their eyes to determine who is good or bad.

This bottom third offensive line, coupled with a bottom third play caller, with bottom third playmakers.... Have resulted in a QB with bottom 12 stats over the last 3 years.

That’s still not the bottom 3rd you claimed.

19th is middle of the pack and that means Fields has enough to at least be an average QB. And he isn’t even that

Its because they take into consideration their run blocking...

Now look at the pass block PFF rank I posted and the individual grades posted...

PFF is not helping you right now

During the front five's best stretch, between Week 6 and Week 14, it ranked 13th in pass-blocking efficiency.

Certainly not helping you.
