Anything WTF...



Okay, here's something I don't understand: Many people here complain about the "Official" board. I'd like to know why, if such a forum is so irritating, why would you keep viewing over there? WTF?



Since I've joined this forum I've visited the other board once, I think, just to refresh my memory and see if was really as bad as many people here say it is. Yes it was. So I haven't been back since.

Damn cheap ass light bulbs. This is the third light bulb that has come apart when we try to change it. The glass comes loose from the metal thing and the metal thing sticks in the socket. The only way you can get the thing out is to use needle nose pliers and pry it loose. You have to turn the power off or get fried. What a pain in the ass.

I thought those things were about to be outlawed. I re-did my apt with Compact Flouroescents and haven't looked back. Saved Beau-coup bucks on my power bill and many of them have lasted well over 8 years.



Anyhow, my WTF:



Temperature should break 95F here today...we already have some asshats clamouring for rain...the same dolts that were complaining a month ago for sun.

To really understand you would have needed to be a poster there long before McD showed up. Prior to that the board pretty much serviced itself and was left alone with a few moderators. McD got involved (so we have heard) and shut down NHTA and then began a dictatorship as to the posts and posters on there. Threads began disappearing and anything remotely challenging of the team or office goes away. I honestly feel that some of the most dedicated, educated and passionate Blackhawks fans are all right here and I seldom spend any time anywhere else.

I wasn't aware of that - thanks for the information.

I forget who invited me over here, but soon as I got here I found it comfortable. Kind of a Wild Wild West forum, really, almost anything goes! But I also like the size - not too big, not too small, just right (as Goldilocks said, I think).

It only had 2 moderators, Killer and BHM and RK for an interim period as I recall. Heres the funny thing, for awhile Before the old man died, I had a picture of dollar bill with a turbin and Osama beard on, didnt recieve so much as a warning. After NHTALYPSE I used an avatar with McD sporting a hitler stash, I was banned within minutes of using the avatar. I PMed Killer and he unbanned me and just told me to keep on the DL for ahile and BHM wouldnt notice.





Then the idiots flowed in. Its the fact (not responding to you here IHF, but ginnie), the reason so many people complain about it, is because that was our message board home for many seasons, and we basically got evicted. So let people ***** and moan because of what its turned into. Its like if you moved away from your hometown and it turned into a shit hole, you would complain about it even though you dont live there, because its where you are from.

I was just at the grocery story an got bumped by someone who was doing just that, texting and operating their motorized wheelchair. Might have been worse if I did not bring it to the ******* attention that he was about to hit me.

Officer Thor Soderberg was shot and killed Thursday by Bryan Brewer, 24.



Brewer had been arrested 21 times in his life including an arrest for allegedly shooting his own brother.



My question to the group.



WHY was the piece of shit still walking the streets at all??



I know our justice system is weak but WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats why people suck. And don't defend it as music.....its not.
