#10. TRADE
Chargers send #22, #55, and #86 (Value of 1290 points)
for the Bears #10 pick (1300 points)
...(Chargers then select Tyler Warren as another weapon for Harbaugh & Herbert)

#22. RB Omarion Hampton - UNC - 6'0 221 - 4.46/40 38"/V.Jump 10'10"/B.Jump
Bears get an absolute monster RB that has size, speed, good hands, blocking, and durability.

#39. DT Tyleik Williams - OSU - 6'3" 334lbs 32" arms
Bears grab this do it all NT/DT that will be the heir apparent to Billings.

#41 LB Carson Schwesinger - UCLA - 6'2.5" 242lbs 31.58" arms
Absolute tackling machine and playmaker, this is the last year of the Edwards & Edmunds combo.
resize

#55 FS Andrew Mukuba - Texas - 5'11.75 186lbs - 4.45/40
A bit undersized but he's a ballhawk and big hitter. Bears don't know what Brisker will become & Byard is 32.

#72 LT Charles Grant - William & Mary - 6'5" 311lbs arms 34.75"
Very talented with great measurables, the question is his level of competition, but if Grey Zabel can make that jump so can Grant.
676b5463eca9b.image.jpg

#86 TE Elijah Arroyo - Miami - 6'5" 250lbs
Great size, very good hands, toughness, athleticism and speed. Put as many offensive playmakers on the field at once as possible.
960x0.jpg

#148 DT & FB J.J. Pegues - Ole Miss - 6'2.5" 309lbs arms 32.50"
#BEEFBACK... Unique player that is amazingly nimble with the ball in hand and yet he has a lot of potential at DT as well.
77915433007-14-20080.jpg

#233 WR Isaac TeSlaa - Arkansas - 6'3.58" 214lbs
Ex-QB with size, speed and toughness out of the slot. This kid is a diamond in the rough.

#240 QB Kurtis Rourke - Indiana - 6'4" 220lbs
I resisted a kicker and decided drafting a QB is always smart, perhaps B. Johsnon can work some magic...

I am more of an advocate right now of trading up than trading down. I want the best chance of drafting a superstar. My order of preference is:

Edge
OL
Jeanty

And I also think another RB later could prove to be a superstar.

The Teslaa pick might attract crazy nutjobs protesting DOGE and Elon at Soldier Field.

I can't figure myself out on what the biggest or best need is to go with at #10 but i think i'm sticking with pass rush as being the biggest need. We don't know what we'll get from Dayo and we know from what we've seen his entire career so far that Sweat will top out around 9 - 10 sacks in a season but hopefully with better help on the inside with the addition of G.Jarrett that will help both of them. After Sweat and Dayo the cubbard is pretty damn empty with young guys we're just hoping give more but there's nothing special there.

I do like K.Grant at #10 because he has what it takes to be that great disruptor on the inside that can stop the run and create power to get through the line and put pressure on the QB.

So in the 1st, whether it's at #10 or hopefully with a trade down give me pass rush and then get the best T you can in the 2nd round.

Agree with the needs but you don't want to take someone at 10 like Stewart who might just suck at football because you need a pass rush. Grant might be a nice pick there.

Just don't **** up the pick and get a good player. Of course we won't know if that works out for a while now.

Oh no i'm staying far away from S.Stewart. Until Ben Johnson proves he can be as good at HC as he was at OC then i'm not in the taking chances and hoping we can get the best out of any football player because they're crazy athletic but don't have the actual numbers to show they can play.

I'm down with K.Grant, M.Graham and even though he does lack in some numbers i think i'd also take a shot on Mykel because i know how much they rotate guys on the DL at Georgia.

I've been saying this for months now that i don't think i've seen another more perfect draft for the Bears to trade down in. So many players we could use that are projected to be around in the mid teens to mid and late 20's that i'd feel so much more comfortable drafting at that point and collecting another pick or two in doing.

No trades... Building inside out but hitting the needs…

They would have insurance at OT and could kick Kiran inside.

I’ve added 3 young guys to the defensive line including two edge players that fit the Allen model. There’s a new safety and a prospect to add to the TE room. Imagine an edge rotation with Dayo, Sweat, Booker, JT, and Williams. Plus, Dayo can kick inside when needed.

I grabbed a RB that is talented at a fantastic value too.

Trenches!

Its a good tradedown mock, I like a lot of the lines taken. LB now is a pretty sneaky big need and you grab one that can seemingly fills 2 positions of need (SLB/back up and can replace Edmunds after next season). With that said, its tough to have a tradedown and not grab a single DE, maybe someone like Kennard instead of the TE @86.

I don't care for mocks with trade downs. Not saying we shouldn't but sort of dismiss the generated ones... The format is multiplying poor need and value assumptions in those. The draft crap shoot just becomes crappier.

Here's another for the crapper, LOL.
