so far the turnout is overwhelming. we have time to get this organized, so i may look into drafting with icehog the users we want or randomizing and making two leagues.

no, as I feel the exact opposite of USC. I played one year of ESPN and it was brutal

Yeah...no. ESPN leagues suck major ass.

ESPN is easier to do trades, can trade draft picks and keepers before the draft, managing your roster is easier IMO and their fantasy insight is way better.

We are doing a CCS Yahoo platformed fantasy baseball season this year. There are limited spots. The most we will do is 14 teams. Icehog and I will be running the league.

if you know your baseball you dont need ESPNs insight.

I can tell you BA is not getting eliminated CO...so dont ask.

For fantasy baseball I like to stick with the traditional numbers.

The ones I like to add are

K/9. Adds value to some non-closer RP
Extra-base hits having just hits is awful and having all hits separate is too much clutter.
OBP. Just that in love with OBP <3

XBH
RBI
AVG
OBP
SB

Wins
ERA
K
Saves
WHIP

that is pretty much how it should be.

BA and SO have to be in due to manipulation of the league with players like Dunn ETC who will have a high OBP, low BA and alot of SO, if you eliminate those stats, than you wont be punished for players flaws....or milk the OBP train.

Also Losses need to be added, if RP x comes in the 8th inning down by 3 runs but the team comes back he gets a win, it should be the same for RP x if he comes in with a 3 run lead and gives up the lead and the opponent takes the lead he deserves the loss.
