Got a new one about the gym. People that stink, the type of stink that bellows "I haven't showered or used deodorant in a millenia!", that go to the gym in the same clothes for weeks on end. I almost passed out today because of a guy that got a drink just before I got there. Holy shit...

Oh god that's the worst. I used to go to this gym that was pretty small and had the cardio machines in rows, with the ellipticals in front and the treadmills in back. There was a dude that absolutely reeked and I'd be right in the middle my cardio and he'd hop on the ellipticals in front of me, causing the little fans in the treadmills to blow it right into my face. I had to make a conscious effort to get to the gym before his usual time everyday to spare myself the gagging.

I hate when you see somebody leave a bathroom without washing their hands.

Its funny cause the whole hand washing in the bathroom thing is about establishing a routine of washing your hands a couple times a day. Which is good for avoiding things like cold or flu pathogens. But it doesn't really have anything to do with anything specific to bathrooms. People have strange ideas about sanitation.

I guess having people touch their ass or dick and expecting them to wash their hands afterwards is a strange sanitation idea? Not to mention the billions of germs on the flush handle or door handle in the place..I've watched workers clean public bathrooms, and they hardly ever clean the flush handle or door handle. They mop the floor and run a rag over the sink.

Sometimes touching infected areas is unavoidable and probably done unknowingly on our part, but when you're touching something that you absolutely know is contaminated, washing your hands afterwards is a good idea IMO

Washing your hands helps stop the spread of cold and flu viruses/bacteria. But even then, you are protecting other people from what you cough onto your hands, not something you picked up from the stall latch. Either way, its not about any microorganisms specific to bathrooms.
