Speaking of driving, I live in a pretty big city where people drive like its a small town. Fucking people here don't know how to drive in a city. They turn a 10 min trip into 20 min cause all the lights are timed for at the speed limit of 5 over. Makes me batshit insane.

Oh and worst of all... the fucks that leave an entire car length and a half space in front of them at stop lights. Theres a lot of em here and the fucking morons are causing only half the traffic to get through the goddamn light.

Probably not in the bigger city because of all of the horn blowing, but here, people see the light turn green then act like they are suspicious. Like it's a trick and just ease out and I get stuck at the light 2 or 3 times.

I use the bearmick approach and drag them into the street and shoot them. Filthy animals.

Funny story about not washing hands..... I went to a Taco Bell with a good friend about a year ago. Two of the kids who worked there were outside smoking. Everyone was walking in the front door around the same time and instead of walking into the bathroom like any normal human being would who just got done smoking, these dweebs walked right back into the kitchen and started making food. I walked up to the counter and the person running the restaurant was actually taking orders at the register. I told him that I noticed that two of the employees were outside smoking and didn't wash their hands upon returning to the kitchen. the manager immediately turned around and asked the two if they had washed their hands, to which they both nodded yes. I looked at my friend and we left. I haven't been back to that place since. To think that they were making people's food almost made me want to throw up.

Now, I'm not naive enough to think this has never happened before, but the fact that I actually witnessed it was nasty.

Can it really be any worse than any of the other things you touch throughout the day while in public? Counters, handrails, other door handles, money, products on store shelves?

Why is it only restroom door handles that people worry about?

I only hate when people wait on you for no reason in a parking lot. Sometimes you're with someone at the store and just split up to wait in the car. People see you get in a car and wait, but you're not going anywhere until the person(s) you were with are back.

I hate getting stuck behind somebody waiting for a parking spot. Most of the time I’ll go around them, find another parking spot and walk into the store while they are still waiting for that same spot.

what's wrong with thanking God if they Christian? Doesn't Forte do that every time he scores a TD?

Wouldn't know. I do know that his constant God gibberish has forced me to unfollow him on twitter. And I didn't say thanking God was wrong I said it was my pet peeve which mean it annoys me. And the reason it does, in my mind the athlete is putting in the work, not God. The athlete is in the gym working on his jumper, not God. It's the musician who takes time to write a song that means something, not God. So it just annoys me that that's who they choose to thank first. And if they believe in that, so be it. But I don't. And it annoys me.

There’s a comedian that had a bit about wanting to see an athlete blame God for his failure one time.

“Yea, I would’ve caught that ball but God made the sun get in my eyes. So it’s God’s fault we lost” :)

DBAs who do not monitor the health of the databases they are responsible for....

Did backups complete last night? Over the weekend?

Are the production DBs performing as expected?

Do we need to shrink tempdb?

Is the WebAuthentication DB locked up and no one can use our website?

My DBAs.... :dontcare:

The driving stuff makes me nuts. The biggest thing I've noticed since moving to Texas is people drive slowly and don't use lanes properly. If I want to get on the expressway out of town and go the speed limit I have to cut people off and weave traffic because people are idiots. 2/3 drive under the speed limit, which is whatever I guess. But then people are ALWAYS just chilling in the left lane blocking everyone. It's young, old, Mexicans, whites, nice cars and lifted trucks alike. It's like no one here ever heard about passing and getting out of the way.

And there are signs along the highway that say "left lane for passing only."

Youre probably right..But the door handle is usually the first thing they touch after wiping their ass..

Well, technically that would probably be the latch on the stall door. But nobody every complains about having to touch that either. :)
