To put it generally.... people who don't bother to have awareness....

Drivers who go slow in the passing lane on the highways

People walking downtown who are slow and zig-zag so people cannot get by them

People who stand still on the left side of escalators and stop everyone behind them

People who wander out of a building on their phone and traipse around the middle of the sidewalk while people are forced to dart around them

Long story short, people need to pay attention to the world around them and not be a social impediment just because they cannot be bothered to put forth enough effort to not be a bumbling fucktard.

To go along with your theme-

Watching someone in front of you at starbucks take an hour to decide on their drink, the cashier rings them up, and then it suddenly dawns on them that they have to pay for the item.... and it takes another hour for them to dig out their wallet and select a card or currency.

OK...Pet Peeve scenario...

Woman in front of you at wal-mart.

She has a cart full of stuff.

The checker checks everything and says..."That will be $83.11"

Then the woman pulls her huge purse off her shoulder, places it on the counter and starts to dig thru the purse.

Then she unzips the pocket inside the purse

Then she takes out her wallet

Then she unsnaps the wallet, and pulls out a check book..

Then she proceeds to write a check for the $83.11, all the while conversing with the cashier

(The cashier is drumming her fingers on the counter)

Then she hands the cashier the check

Then the cashier asks her for an ID

Then she digs for an ID in her wallet

She hands the cashier her D/L

Then the cashier has to get the check approved

Then she hands the woman the receipt and D/L

Then the woman takes the receipt and D/L and carefully folds it and places it into the back of the checkbook..

Then she takes the checkbook and places it back in the wallet

Then she snaps all the snaps closed on the wallet

Then she places the wallet back into the zipper compartment in the purse.

Then she zips the compartment closed

Then she puts all the other junk back into the purse

Then she throws the purse back over her shoulder

Then she thanks the cashier and leaves

Total time to make the purchase was 14 minutes, when it would have taken 2 minutes with a credit/debit card

I also have several about the gym

-people that are at the gym to hang out, not to work out
-people who are obnoxious about using their phone. Talking loudly and shit but don't have the decency to go to the fucking locker room
-Not putting your weights away. And, to a lesser extent, not putting the weights away in any sort of order
-hoarding weights/equipment and being a douche if asked to share/work in
-Out of shape people that won't go "because I'm afraid of what people will think". Noone gives a **** what you look like as long as you work your ass off...

I am not even remotely lazy enough to sit and wait for another person to get in their car, start up and leave.
I tend to park all the way out at the empty part of the lot and walk, because contrary to popular belief, walking isn't fatal.

I'm in the 10 S. Dearborn building going down the escalator to the massive food court in the basement. Place and escalator is jammed. Guy in front of me is texting and decides to just stop walking. This causes me to take a stutter step and I catch my foot on a brick planter. Next thing you know I'm face down in brick rock garden/planter with my laptop and all the content of my leather case strewn on the floor.

Luckily I got up with only some bruises on my hands and forearms but this could have been more dangerous. I only go downtown about twice a month, but have noticed people dont pay attention to what they are doing. So, now I just walk with one arm braced and when these morons run into me I just push off on them
