no one said we are making the playoffs. but we can compete, and as i have stated in your fucking cubs forum about the cubs anything can happen in baseball even a rebuilding team i just have more doubts with a rebuilding team than an established team.
starting pitching and defense. thats what is going to win this division. whoever ends the season with that, wins the division.

It's good to feel good about your baseball team...even if this only lasts a few days. A lot of "if's" surrounding the Sox this season and we're seeing some of the those "if's" become reality, hence our early successes.Okay I was wrong. Start printing the playoff tickets.

As sox fans we remember something that happened in 2005. Not just the world series but what was missed about that whole season.
We moved carlos lee for pods and luis vizscaino (spelling)
We let Maggs go.
We brought in JD, Contreras from loaiza trade (2004) and el duque, tadihito plus 3 closers in shingo, hermanson, and jenks.
So I think we know about question marks and what ifs more than a lot of fandoms. if this team pitches better than detroit and plays better defense than detroit we can make the playoffs. the question now lies with if we can do it, i think we can but they actually have to do it.
