I legit don’t know which coaching decision is worse. The Hail Mary sequence, settling for a field goal, or this debacle. It’s insane. He finds a new way to **** up every single week. 3 weeks in a row is insanity.

How is he supposed to know the QB is going to waste 30 seconds?
I can see it both ways. Call the TO and you still have 30 seconds. Save the TO, get the play off in a reasonable amount of time and you can use it afterward and then kick the FG.
When they decide to save it it’s on the QB to be aware of the time and get the play off in a timely manner.

It’s a rookie fucking QB, half the team was 30 yards down the field, they clearly didn’t have a play called before the snap. The QB was plenty aware of the time. The head coach was not. Stop making excuses. My fucking wife barely understands football and asked why he didn’t use a timeout. It’s 100% on Flus.

Did we just watch the same thing? He could have taken the snap with 14 seconds left and he wasted like another 7 seconds going who knows what.
You can see the coaches going mad telling him to snap the ball and he’s just wastes valuable time. And it’s in a spot where you look completely stupid if you then use it with like 9 seconds left. Caleb Williams did him no favors there.
