Apparently Caleb changed the play from a draw to a pass to Odunze. Probaboy tried to do too much.

A QB draw? Wtf?

Well, I can't blame him for seeing the need to change that.

This all goes back to they should have called timeout immediately after the sack. The team was clearly not ready for the moment. Again. Take the TO and get yourself ready and talk your options.

They needed about 5 yards so draw made sense given Santos would be kicking in a dome with no wind. Just run the play.

Flus still a moron for not calling TOnonce he sees Caleb changing the play.

@nc0gnet0 still think it’s crazy to fire Clownerflus? Again, I ask you….

1. What is the upside in sticking with Flus?

2. What is the downside in promoting Brown?

You ignored this question last time I asked it. You still sticking with your original stance that it’s stupid to fire flus and promote Brown?
it would mean that Caleb would then have OC #3 this year. I never said Firing Neverflush would be bad, only replacing him with Thomas would be.

If you think that was really a horse collar tackle, then you don’t know the game.
And if you think that was PI on the last Bears drive, you don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.

He’d still be the OC and play caller in all likelihood.

Just to be clear, your opinion is the smart play would be to stick with Flus? Or would you be advocating for Washington to take over as HC?

Maybe. I agree that at that point you are playing for the FG to tie and from that standpoint, just need to get a bit closer.

But I think to the Borom not even attempting to block on another probable draw play and just in general that they were not getting much in the running game. In that context, I don't know that you can reasonably think you can even get 5 yards.

Anyone that says Caleb screwed anything up and the end knows nothing about football. 150% all on the head coach.

The receivers weren't set, and Caleb did a veteran move by not snapping it too early ... For anyone who wants to argue this.

The weapons on the left side were moving all over the place and should be the scapegoat, other than calling a play that could give up a sack, or Jenkins with the weak sauce hands to the face.

Lots of guys made this happen by all being shitty at football at once.

I think being weak in situational and mental football falls on the coach personally.

Neither of those choices. Only an idiot would make up such a question. How about fire Neverflush and hire Vrabel?

Maybe but he just doesnt have time to change it.

Changing the play was never going to work in time @DET with their fans going nuts. Caleb shouldn’t have done that and it’s a learning moment for him.

But most coaches will use 12-15 seconds as their cutoff for “snap it or stop time” mark if they want to get more than one play off before end of game. Eberflus said in his own post game conference he uses 12 seconds. Even if you give him the benefit of the doubt that the draw call was correct - the fact he let play continue 6 seconds after his own cutoff is simply on the coach the draw wasn’t going to work if time runs out .Flus needs to be the safety net that catches these issues before they slip through the cracks and so far he has done the opposite.

Flus is obviously at fault for not calling the TO.

lol a draw to end the game and remy is defending it.

Yall are not making sense. You run a draw in a light box as Lions playing pass and then you call the TO and kick.

I didn’t say it was jerk off. I know more about the game than you could ever learn.

Romo said on the broadcast QB draw light box. They are at the 41 and Santos range in a dome is 55. So draw makes sense.
Correct. He did say tv

you are correct. Romo spotted that and called it. Williams should have stayed with the play. He’s a rookie and he will learn. But the idiot coach needs to recognize what’s going on and call a TO. The guy is oblivious to the situations.
