I had a great round yesterday; had to make it up this morning by getting a solid 4 hours of yard work in on a Sunday.
What are you shooting? I am still too amateurish to keep a handicap: for pace of play, I still take the penalty stroke but move my ball in bounds instead of going back to the spot of the previous hit. I play with only two different groups so everyone is on the level that I am still learning, and this is just what it takes to play with good friends and family.

Bear friggin down my guy! Golf is the most humbling experience of this stage of my life, and my local course happens to be a lovely place to listen to the birds. I just wish people would resist the temptation to spoil my time by playing their music. Don't they make wireless earbuds for reasons such as these?
Once I hit under 100 this-a-way, I am going to be playing the rules as written. My old man and I are taking lessons through October to help get it down. I am pleased to say that last month ago I nearly had my "I was this close to a Hole in One" story; I would have hit the pin had the hole been in it's typical position, and my pitch-mark was just off-center of the plug. Un-friggin-believable.
I'll probably send a message later to talk about choice of golf balls and equipment - but back to Bears! Call your shot; what is the longest play the Bears Offense puts out today? I am thinking a 55 yard pass to Odunze.

Malik Nabers had 127 yards, 1TD with Daniel Jones last week. (Yes, he had a drop on 4th down.)
