Suddenly the 49ers game looks winnable. We need to win some games in the division and put ourselves in the playoff hunt.

Why is Carolina still playing Dalton in this game? You are down 34. Put Young in and let him get some game reps. There is literally no point to playing Dalton right now.
That game is a tragedy, CAR hit rock bottom at 100 miles an hour and broke through the floor.

Jeez, feel bad for Bryce, but can only hope that he gets traded to someone like Cleveland. Yes, even Cleveland would be an upgrade over that clown show in Carolina :/

Every Bears fan needs to vote Daniels as Pepsi rookie of the week.

You are listening to the narrative announcers keep pushing!

What difference does it make if you "keep it at one" and fail the 2 point conversion later? If you do NOT convert the 2 point conversion, you can't tie with two TDs.

If you succeed, getting 7 and then 8 is no better than getting 8 and then 7.
If you fail, getting 6 before 7 is no worse than getting 6 after 7.

But if you get 8 first, you then have an option to get another 8 instead of playing for OT.

There is no downside to trying 8 first. Only upside.

The only perceived downside is that you can't say you lost by one score if you don't get the second TD. And that means nothing.
I watch the games with the sound off. I hate network talking heads. All of them. If you can't see that the way the opponent play changes when they have have more than a one possession lead...you are not paying attention. You keep it within one possession, you force them to keep playing... trying for a 1st, not giving the ball back. With a 2 possession lead they run three plays and punt knowing there's usually not enough time to score twice.

Titans will be in that mix too (or at least, their fans hope so)—they host the Patriots in a few weeks, and I'd trust Maye over Levis by a longshot.

If you fail to get the 2 point conversion, whether after the first TD or the second, your chances are extremely slim. Down 15 late your chances are slim already.

They don't get better because you "kept it a one score game".

8 + 7 = 7 + 8

6 + 7 = 7 + 6

8 + 8 > 7 + 8

Failing the 2 point conversion later and saying you "kept it a one score game" longer may be better for the TV network, but it means absolutely nothing to the team. A loss is a loss. Finding out you're going to lose with less time remaining does not make that any better!

Announcers will agree with you.

Coaches agree with me.

Whatever Jayden's injury is, I hope it's clear by tomorrow if he's in or out for next Sunday. Would hate for it to be wishy washy all week and we have to prepare for both.
