Broken rip?

I am guessing either a broken rib or torn cartilage. When I was a kid I tore the cartilage between my ribs and that shit hurts like hell. Depending on which or the severity of the break, you can sometimes play through it with wearing a rib belt and just handling the pain. That's what I ended up doing with the torn cartilage - just kept playing,

The danger of a full rib break and trying to play through that is you really don't want to pierce your lung(s) on the next big hit. But, I think guys like Drew Brees played with multiple broken ribs too, so...I don't know.

I disagree, it's not that clear cut. Both strategy's are valid and the new age analytics often suggest going for 2 early rather than late so you know and can manage the clock/drives accordingly after that.
LOL....the whole point is that it's the end of the game. You need the ball and there's no time to keep giving it back to the other team. There's no time for multiple possessions, you need to keep it at one. When he failed....it pretty much ended the game. The other team can go into kill clock mode. You want to keep them playing....maybe a TO.....not gonna happen when they are killing clock.

Deahaun Watson blows out his Achilles is that good or bad?

It's probably good for Cleveland in the sense that they can try the other QB's now when the owner was obviously forcing them to play Watson. Either way though, they are screwed with that contract and how he was playing even before he got hurt.

And if you wait and miss it at the very very end, the game's over anyway just in a different order. The point is you need a 2 pt conversion, either now or later. The order you go for it does not change you need a 2 pt conversion and that if you miss it, you need another possession.

So, imo, either strategy is valid.

I am always amazed when I see players on the receiving team of a punt chase after a ball that is live only if they touch it. The returner let it go. You would think that they would know by now to get away from the damn thing. Nothing good will ever come from you being near a bad bounce. Washington got a bit lucky there that their player did not touch that ball.
