I'm so pumped for this game that I can't sleep. Looks like I'll be taking a lot of 5 hour energy for work tonight.

Not their best defensive lineup with Soler and Schwarber both out there but he's staying with the philosophy of trying to get a lead and substitute later for defense. I can't argue with that.

Wind blowing out. Cogs has been struggling. Also, Cogs isn't a very good defensive OF either. Our best defensive OF isn't really a good defensive OF at all. lol

I woke up at 4:30 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. Probably a mix of excitement for tonight and all the red bull from the Jagerbombs I did after the Bears game.

5pm can't come soon enough!

LOL. Yeah, I'm trying to get a couple hours in before the Cubs game, but I'm not sure it's going to happen. I slept a little, but I woke up at 1130 am, which will be real ugly around 8am tomorrow when I'm finishing up my shift.

I get to see all the games because I'm on 3rd shift. I'm aiming to get back on 2nd shift, but not until the Cubs are eliminated or win the WS. I've been told not to wait too long as I might miss my chance. I said I'd rather watch the Cubs.

I don't start my shifts until midnight. If I'm on second shift, I'd be gone from about 230pm-100am.

No surprises here but maybe some interesting choices in the order. Soler bats 2nd, Schwarber 6th and Arrieta 9th.
I love this batting order and starting lineup for tonight. This is the kind of stuff Maddon gets paid the big bucks for. Whether one agrees or disagrees with his moves, he is always looking for an advantage.

Ive been to Old Busch and New Busch a couple of times. Always wore my Cubs gear and no one was ever a dick. I have actually never had an issue at any stadium I have ever went to. I have never been heckled or anything. I guess I am just lucky to not sit next to people who are way to serious in life and live through high school dreams.

I thought the lineup was going to be:
Fowler
Solar
Rizzo
Bryant
Schwarber
Castro
Montero
Russell

You can't argue with how well the Cubs moves have worked so far. I am very happy that both Soler and Schwarber are in the lineup. They have been the two best hitters so far this postseason and they should be playing. I honestly wouldn't have minded:

Fowler
Solar
Schwarber
Bryant
Rizzo
Castro
Montero
Russell

Rizzo and Bryant have struggled so moving them down and getting the hottest hitter all in a row my have made more sense. I suspect the Cubs will have to score 3 to win today. I don't think Arrieta can continue to not give up run and pitch shutouts.

I've only been to one other baseball stadium besides Wrigley, and it was the Cell. Had plenty of problems there. 3 dudes wanted to jump me because they probably thought I was by myself. They thought better of it once they realized we were rollin' 10 deep.

But they are the most spoiled fans in all of baseball....would love for the Cubs to stick it in their collective, red wearing, Wrigley Field trolling asses.

That lineup is YOKED. Plus with the wind blowing out and Wacha on the mound? Rizzo and Bryant should see some good pitches.
