For those of you that were there, how was the pre-ceremony rave that broke out at the UC?

There were a bunch of balls that had LEDs in them, and I guess they were heavier than they looked (insert jokes). A few people got clocked by those. They weren't beach ball light, and most ended up on the ice. Probably the only bad decision of the night (off the ice).

I get that it was only 1 game but right now it is the only game we have to go off of. I don't think anyone is making a huge deal out of one game, just simply giving their opinions, especially on the new guys. We are here to talk hockey, assess the play from the game, etc etc and this is the game we have to go off of right now. I'm sure people will comment on how certain guys do on Friday and every game there after.

Personally, I think the only person worth being hard/critical on because of one game is Rundblad. It simply looks like a continuation of what happened last year and that is going to frustrate people from a team that should be competing. It is never good when the #6 dman on the team stands out and costs the team.

Wasn't very original but was cool enough to experience. Pretty much the same celebration as the last time with the exact same led bracelets, they just tossed a couple of led balls in. Hey, it was the Stanley Cup ceremony, so it wasn't like I wanted to be anywhere else at that time.

I basically agree. Daley is new to the system and for all we know his performance will be an outlier, or he could be essentially a 13th fwd. The brass know what Runblad is so can we be surpirsed when he screws the pooch?

Nah, I just think it takes 4-6 weeks to truly develop an appreciation for a player's suckage on ice.

eh, i lucked out and didn't pay a ton over face. the wife signed off on it so that tells you all you need to know. we haven't sat in the 100's since before kane/toews. saturday i'll be back up where i belong

I don't think i've ever sat in 100 or 200 that I've had to pay for... especially now.
