One of the guys in the theater is suing Warner Bros. and AMC because he was traumatized. I believe I read he was not severely injured (or at all) but his friend died.
The best part about Bale is that he did this on HIS own. Nobody told him to go, he did it on his own.
That's respectable.
It's silly that anyone would try to sue the movie production company. The only people that should be sued are the owners of the movie theater. Why didn't a loud alarm sound when the killer went through a fire door at the back of the theater to gear up?
He entered the theater with the rest of the audience, sat down, then went to the back exit door (fire exit if you will), propped it open, geared up, then re-entered through that door and set off the smoke grenades.
I wonder if CO or Aurora fire and building codes were followed in regards to those doors...that's all.
I always just thought those were exit doors. I've seen people use them quite often.
I as well assumed they were emergency exits as well as exits. I never got the impression of a fire exit, but typically that would be an "emergency exit".
Good point, probably has/will be looked into.
Just read that the lady that lost the 6 year old daughter also had a miscarriage.
has it turned into a heavy political thing yet?
After two very high profile shootings in Toronto over the past month (Gangbanger opened fire on someone in a mall, hitting 12, killing 2. Gangbanger opened fire at a house party hitting 24, killing 2) The city is now talking about a complete firearm ban in Toronto, and an ammunitions ban.
I hope cities in the USA aren't stupid enough to think that a ban on guns will keep criminals from using them.
I just want to know how ANYONE can be stupid enough to think a ban on guns or ammunition will keep criminals from killing people with them..... Seriously, where's the logic?
