Jimmy G, Mitch Trubisky, Deshaun Watson

I don't care.

I just want to see Pace drop his nuts and make a decision at the most important position in sports.

If were not taking a QB with our first round pick, I hope like hell we are trading it for a butt load of picks including a number one next year. I wonder what trading away the number 2 overall pic would net us?

I'm for trading down if they can net out a first and 2nd rounder this year along with a number one next year Don't know if that is possible but I think that they still could get a quarterback to develop with their first pick along with a good left tackle and WR or TE with their two second picks.

That would depend on who their trade partner is and how far down they have to move this year. Swapping firsts and picking up a second, plus a first next year would be my starting offer, and I wouldn't take anything less. This might not be a bad plan if the Bears went with a FA QB, assuming NE would settle for second round pick for Jimmy G.

Myles Garrett Jonathan allen or best qb 2nd round best, CB O.J Howard or Butt if none of these are available possibly a decent Tackle preferred best RT in class. 3rd round can go to pass rush specialist DE/NT depth TE WR or corner it all depends on the first two rounds I'm I'll advised on CB possibility here gonna have to wait and see who comes out but a few interesting names.
Tabor, Wilson, Humphreys, king, jackson, lattimore, Jones, Tankersley, Conley, White, Sutton.

we should still draft a Qb. I'm really not high on JG. My gut tells me it's a mistake. Plus the guy has already been injured.

Not saying your wrong, but he has one year left on his rookie contract, might be worth a second to give him a one year try out, and get a first rnd pick in doing it.

Give me

1(2) QB Mitch Trubisky
2(34) TE Jake Butt
3(66) CB Kevin King

Sign a FA RT and a S.

If u want trubisky you might prefer a Njoku in the 3rd Jake Butt looks like a less athletic hunter Henry. Kevin king won't be there in the 3rd and quite frankly a CB in the 2nd round sounds better to me this year.

yeah...I do and I analyze various college and pro Qb's. And read what posters say.......

---------
So......

Dude......Here's your total statement:

Ok...so don't try to play pych games, I'm the wrong person. I knew u didn't know what u were talking about by trying to claim or question Watson's intelligence. So I called u out on it with facts. Then u try to back-peddle and call him a lazy Qb......here's what was said:

.

So this is everything.

Now ur best bet is to just say "my bad, Watson is very intelligent ( his classroom achievements prove it) and he's very good on the field as a Qb."

......and let it go without putting your self in a deeper hole.

Lol you're some sort of idiot huh ? I mean Id rather dump shit down your throat but I know you prefer words.

I would take him in the 2nd, but not with a top 3 pick. He was playing far inferior talent and has been inconsistent this year. I like him, just not that high.

Watson & Mahomes are the 2 QB's I like from this class the most.. As a FSU fan I compare Watson's season this year to Winston's second season..
He's less accurate & the team isn't as good makes for a down year. I would still take Watson first he's had 3 years of Good - Great film..
Mahomes seems to have a lot of Physical tools to work with..
If you watch the West Virginia game and a few others you might change your opinion on that texas tech QB

I'm thinking 3rd rnd pick. But I don't think N.E. would do it. IDK...I just keep coming back to .....if our FO can't draft worth a darn, why do we have them.

I tend to agree with the thought that QB is not something that Chicago needs to "hope" they can get. The position is too important

If we end up picking high and a QB is there that Pace and Fox (or the new HC) are willing to gamble on then you pull the frigin trigger.

If they think that a Jimmy G or another teams backup can lead us to a Superbowl, then pull the friggin trigger.

Not only are the fans gun shy because we got burnt with Cutler, but I think the organization is gun shy also.

QB is the hardest position to get right, so that means that we may need to fail a couple of times to get the right kid in there, but we need to get off the pot and take a shot. If that means drafting a kid too high, then do it! Take the chance, get the one you want.
Cutler cost way more to acquire than one first round pick. Since the latest CBA and reasonable rookie contracts, I don't think rational people are gun shy about spending a high first round pick on a QB with a first round grade. At least I hope they are not.

"Good point."
-Derek Carr

"You said it."
-Dak Prescott

"Damn straight."
-Russell Wilson

Fact is, every year people say there is no game-changing quarterback in this year's draft. And most years, those people are wrong.

It seems we all agree that good QBs can be had outside of the 1st round then right!? ;-) Bears will have 3-5 QBs on their board no doubt that are serviceable, developmental, and/or highly rated to ball soon. 1st or 2nd Rd likely.
