^^^ Saw that on NHL Network last night.

Good for Vinny. A celebration like that is bush league.

I think Downie could be in big trouble here and for coming off the bench, could get 10 games - just like Godard last year during the Isles/Pens brawl.

Question for you guys: Is Minnesota legit? Just looked at the standings and saw they were tops in the whole league. Who do they have that is performing so well for them this year? Is Havlat still there?

Havvy is on the Sharks now. You'll see him at the UC on Sunday night.

He wears #9 for em.

They added some scoring this off-season in Heatly and Setoguchi to get around Koivu and PMB. The defenders they have you would think wouldn't be good, but these guys developed with the Houston AHL team, and if you look it up those teams where very defensive minded.

I would say as long as they are playing defense and that offense continues to shine they will be a good contender. They have 2 solid goalies who can go out and win you a game.

Minnesota is 24th in goals for.

Minnesota is 3rd in goals against.

Their powerplay sucks and their PK is ok.

Typical Minnesota hockey, even with a new coach and a new system that was promised to bring more offense.

Are they for real? Hard to argue with a team this successful into December, but not being able to score goals usually catches up with a team.

Wait and see.

Those goals for tho are from a cold streaked koivu and heater. Those two are starting to get it together and are putting up numbers.

Definitely not solid on the Wild. They're probably a playoff team, but I don't see them being legit contenders for the cup.

8 wins in his last 22 games.

17 total goals in their last 10 games.

With that roster? Oif.

Yea, 50/50 in a lot of ways.

If it was a 1 year contract he would probably be picked up, but that 2 year contract is going to scare people away.

There's some reports on twitter that he was claimed. Teams still unknown
