Nope, i've liked Kruger for quite some time. He's also 21 not 101 like Brunette.

Really...so you don't remember ripping on him in the beginning of the year? You don't remember whining about him not getting enough points? He gets 4 goals in 7 games and you go crazy for him now.

Im sure you understand (might not agree) but you understand where im coming from im sure. One cannot always use the "board battles" shit for every single player that gets critized.Its cherry picked by fans. The object is to score goals which are points. For this hawks team, and im sure the ones who watch closely know that board battles have not been their strong suit, and have not lead to many goals. I also like how fans on the radio and what not say "well konroyd said player x is this and he is good" its the same source that compared leddy to coffey.

Brunette should never be on the PP. EVER! 0/30 its time for change. just like scott should never dress again.

he may, but there are a lot of things other than the 4th line to ***** about which make this team, not good.

Being a two way player holds a lot of weight though. I'd take Datsyuk over Sedin even though Datsyuk is going to get out scored.

You have to take points into account but you have to take everything else into account as well.

You can't look at points and then rank how good a player is based on that. Just doesn't work.

Hell, I think Frolik is a really solid defensive forward...but he can't put up a point to save his life so far this year...so he has dropped in terms of overall effectiveness and overall how good people view him. Which would be accurate.

Like Tbo said brunette is really the only guy who will go in for a board battle and he wins those. Even though he doesn't get a point he could still keep the puck in the zone which could lead to a goal for someone else. Because of his experience in the league he does do many of the little things right which is why he is out there.

You have to take into account the PP tho. The 2nd unit consists of Leddy, Brunette, and Seabrook/Keith. All of your top scores are on that 1st unit. That's putting guys on the 2nd unit who shouldn't even be out there.

Hell, the bigger issue with the PP in my eyes is that Bolland is 3rd (I think I heard that stat correctly) on the team in PP points.

There is no way that should happen with Hossa, Toews, Kane and Sharp on this team. Bolland should be 5th at best and even that would be too high.

The PP problems go pretty far beyond Brunette.

I dont care what unit is out there, brunette is not a PP guy anymore. entry has been a huge problem, so subtract him from guys which brings you to 4 that may be ok with the entry. its not a good formula, and it isnt working.

This team has problems way beyond brunette.

The power play on both units have sucked this year, so to constantly rip brunette when the whole thing as a whole has sucked all year. We have seen hardly no attempts to changes and the back door to sharp always seems to develop.
