Zeke DeVoss is a beast 4-4 last night and a walk. He looks like he could be the 2B man of the future.

Tony Zych made his debut last night as well

bot Vogelbach and Rocky Shoulders had a few RBIs

Plenty of room on the DeVoss bandwagon...

If he can stick at 2B, he could be a real intriguing guy with his speed/plate discipline combination. Still he is a long ways away from making an impact at the big league level. I would wait til we see him against AA pitching before declaring him the future.

true I really like his plate discipline and speed it is two things that are really missing in the Cubs farm system.

I would debate the speed since we have seen guys like Campana come up. Jackson has a little speed. Logan Watkins isn't slow by any means. The Cubs have speed. Guys that can take a walk are a much shorter list than guys with speed.

But Campana cant do anything else he can barley get on base. I dont see Campy sticky very long in the majors.

I didn't say that the guys with speed were good ballplayers and really he is a great example of how elite speed isn't enough to be a regular major leaguer as opposed to any other elite tool. I was just saying that lack of speed isn't a huge problem in the organization, lack of plate discipline is.

I do expect Campy staying in the majors for a little bit longer. (2 years...).

Well, he does have a fan club bigger than Len and Bob's infamous fan club, so you have to give the man credit. (Seriously.)
