It was up to 30 pages anyway, archiving it wasn't a bad idea.

Iowa won 14-7 yesterday.

Yeah I don't get the fascination some have with this guy (LaHair). He was pretty mediocre the first three seasons he played in AAA. Now in years 4 and 5 he is destroying AAA. His 45ish games with the Mariners when he was 25 were pretty craptacular as well.

He's a Quad-A guy, but they should probably think about giving him extended playing time in September and see what he can do. Not going to hurt much at this point anyway. Heck, play him in the outfield if they have to. It'll be fun.

That's my opinion on it. We have people here clamoring for Colvin nonstop, which is fine. However, if any actually watched the Iowa streams through milbtv when Colvin was there... they'd have seen very quickly that LaHair is a better hitter than Colvin, but quite a bit.

I also understand the guy is too old to be a "prospect", but there have been guys that caught on later than most before. Not saying he's the future, but can he really do worse than Pena is? If he's in the lineup, will the Cubs lose maybe 2-3 more games than their possible 90+ as it is? Give him a shot to see what he can do. He deserves that much form the monster seasons he's been putting up. If he fails, so be it. It he does well... then who knows. He might turn into tradebait. He might also be a suitable place holder for someone else in the farm system.

you know your system sucks if DJ LeMahieu and Welington Castillo are top 10 in your system

Javier Baez is making his debut today has a hit and a SB so far

Hayden Simpson really sucks 0-4 with an 8era

he started and only went 1 inning gave up 2 runs and got the loss

He was horrible in Peoria also. What Cubs get for drafting a D-2 in 1st RD
