Kings win. Parody is lost.

The frozen 4 will be the last 4 or 5 cup winners

Sent from Neverwhere using Taptalk

Just out of curiosity, how is parity lost? Yah, the final 4 is the last 4 champs, but none of them are even close to being labeled a dynasty, and I believe the last back-to-back champion was over 15 years ago. It just happened that this year, the final 4 were the best teams all year long. I much prefer that then having to watch the Kings destroy the Devils in the Cup, like last year. To me, first and second round upsets are good, but let the cream rise to the top.

Besides, what else would you compare it to? Obviously, the NBA is the worst example of parity... On the other end is the NFL, right? Well, in the NFL, even with its parity, there are still well-run franchises that have a legit chance every year (Patriots, Ravens, Steelers, Giants, Packers, and looking like the 49ers) and really shitty-run franchises, that really don't have a chance. I view the NHL in the same way. A lot of teams had a legit channce to make the final four this year, some of them failed in the playoffs and the best made the final four. It just so happens that they were the last 4 cup winners. I think its more valid to say that some GMs realize they need to build their teams for the grind of the playoffs.

This was a pathetic game to watch. Only 1 team showed up. Letang, Iginla, Volcoun, Fluery... They all stunk. That said, Cindy has played two pathetic games in a row... I LOVE that.. this series is basically over, I just hope the Penguins can win a game or two so that Boston has to use energy before the Finals.

If the Hawks move on to the SCF I'm genuinely afraid of the Bruins.

They are physical and score a lot of goals. They're the Kings with more offensive power.

Granted, Crawford is better than Vokoun and Fleury have been. And the Hawks defense is a lot better than the Pens. But the way the Pens were dominating up until this series to just be stopped is ridiculous.

I think the flaws in the Pens' game were widely exposed by the Islanders, but that team wasn't quite good enough to be able to send them packing. Boston, on the other hand, is.

Bruins will be a formidable opponent for sure, but I still see the Hawks as the best team in the league this regular season and this postseason.

I think the Blackhawks have the capability to beat Boston, but Boston is rolling right now. Then again, the Hawks have won 5 in a row.

It will be another series where Crawford has to be on top of his game. So far he has stepped up to the challenge, but who knows how long that will last? Right now Rask > Crawford. I'd love for him to prove me wrong though.

The Leafs have a lot of speed on the back end. So do the Hawks. The pens on defense are a joke.

If its Hawks/ Bruins, I like the Hawks chances. If the Pens quit crying and find a way to win, I like the Hawks chances even more.

I think Boston is beatable, but would be a tough challenge for the Hawks. But it's the SCF so it's supposed to be a challenge.

Also, commenting on the Leafs taking them deep does nothing now. The Leafs had them in the first round. Now the Bruins have all the momentum. That's huge. IF they sweep Pitt they have crazy momentum. But, yes, the Leafs showed where they were vulnerable and how to beat them.
