Wow, so I guess Blatt is trying to get fired??

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12153672/david-blatt-cleveland-cavaliers-tonight-not-step-forward

Blatt got defensive when a reporter pointed out the Cavs' struggles despite still having two "max" players in the lineup in Love and Irving.

"Well, Kev's not a max player yet, is he?" Blatt responded.

Blatt presumably was alluding to the fact that Love signed a four-year extension with Minnesota in 2012 instead of the maximum length of five years, but Love's yearly salary was still the maximum number allowed at the time. Love is expected to opt out of the final year of his current contract this summer to sign another max deal.

Yea he can THINK that but you don't answer that question with a flip response like that especially when the GM leveraged the team's future to get this guy & is attempting to resign him long term. That was such a Trestman-like response.

Yea he's going to leave after this year. I just don't see any reason why he would stay. Lebron doesn't like him, which means Kyrie probably doesn't either since he's Lebron's puppet now. His coach has no confidence in him and he will forever be relegated to a third option as nothing more than a stretch-4 in that offense. The Lakers will throw money at him to make him the new face of the franchise and my guess is he will take it, which would be super sweet because FINALLY Lebron doesn't get his damn way!

So far they've proven theyre a good regular season team. The 2010-2011 Bulls were a good regular season team that mostly struggled their way to the ECF behind an MVP Rose.

Well I THINK he's going to leave & from what I've seen from on the court & during time out huddles, Lebron and Love don't get along. You rarely see them talking and usually when they do, it's Lebron just yelling at him about something, or just glaring instead.

I mean honestly, would you stay if your coach throws you under the bus, your teammates scream at you all the time, and you've had your talents marginalized into a spot up 3-point shooter in the system the team is running? I would leave if it was me, that's for sure.

No, but I figure LeBron will run Blatt out of town and get a coach he likes and then convince Love to re-sign. LeBron wanted him there after all.

No argument on a new coach. I said last week that I fully expect Tyronne Lue to be coaching the team before the all-star break. But honestly, regardless of Lebron wanting Love there, I don't think their relationship is as rosey as it was when he first donned the uniform after being traded. But hey, we'll see as you like to say. ;)

Watched the Hawks yesterday for the first time this season. Um, they are a very good team. Everytime the Wizards would put a run together. They would stop it and have a run of their own. Kyle Korver is impressive in that offense. Al Horford is a man. Jeff Teague was really impressive against Wall. He D'd him up well and showed great quickness. I think the East runs through them. Barring injury, this is the best Hawks team I have seen in my lifetime.

Mo Williams went off. 52pts, first 50+ game in the NBA this season.
