Lakers called Philly for advise on how to tank. They said, sit your best player.

Doesn't work.

Still gonna be East champs.

Well seeing as how he was a defensive anchor for them in the post and they have NO ONE to replace that now, this is a bigger loss than people are thinking.

They better hope Tristan Thompson becomes a shot blocking machine.

He's going to have to be better on the defensive end that's for sure. With more focus, I can see him improving a bit. But who's after him? Amundson? Haywood? Neither of them are that good defensively. I think we're going to see quite a bit of LeBron and Marion at PF the rest of the year if they can't pick up a solid player.

They have options now with their trade exception ($5.2m) & possibly an Injured Player exception, but they can't use both to get one player. Mozgov and Koufus are the two names that have been brought up the most but I doubt either Denver or Memphis wants to give them up. Dalembert from NY for the trade exception & a draft pick I could see happening. We'll see what GM LeBron James has up his sleeve this time. ;)

Faried finally puts together 2 very good games. Just put up 26/25 tonight. Too bad it was against Minnesota who has no big men. Of the guys who were on Team USA this summer, Faried has probably been the most disappointing.

Idk that anyone cares but the Bulls have done away with their black alternate and are going back to the pinstripe jersey. Instead of saying Bulls across like the original it will say Chicago. We start wearing them in early 2015.

Love it. I've been missing those pinstripes for the last decade. That was a sweet jersey.

Nice. Throwback to those 90s jerseys.

Lebron to sit two weeks with knee and back strains.

Can't think of a time in which he would sit for that long, as we seeing the beginning of him breaking down?

Yes, he has played basketball all year round since he was probably a kid. He also played with so much force that will hurt him. He is going to have to change his game like Jordan did. He cant rely forever on your athletic freakishness.

Cavs have some big games over that stretch. If he misses any longer he could miss the game against the Bulls.

Bulls have to continue to play well here and gain a lot of ground on the Cavs
