I think Detroit's time as a competent franchise ended a long time ago. Sucks for KCP though...unless they're throwing Johnson in at the 3. I guess that's possible.

Yeah I'd imagine that he'd get a lot of minutes at the 3. But KCP has kinda sucked. He hasn't really improved much since he got to the NBA.

People have been counting out the Spurs many times before but they have made those people look silly. You can never count out Popovich's San Antonio Spurs.

I don't think that there is even a top four group of teams in the NBA right now. I wouldn't be surprised if any of 8 or 9 teams win it all. I also do not see the supposed great disparity between the East and the West in terms of best teams. Yeah, the West is deeper. But I'd say the Top Four are pretty much equal. I think that its a crap shoot which is why the Bulls shouldn't stand pat. They should go for it all.

You can say that about any team in the play-offs. I can see Golden State getting beat in the first round. I can see Atlanta getting beat in the first round. There is not a clear powerhouse team.

And now the movement begins. Great pick up for Portland. Denver is really raking in those 1st round picks. Sessions for Miller seems like an odd trade to me. Sessions is a better shooter but Miller gave them a different style out there & is still by far a better PG even at his age now. We'll see how that one works out.
