I missed the part where Denver also sent a 1st. They're just hoarding more picks. McGee is definitely not in the plan.
Its OKC's 1st, which is Top 18 protected this year and Top 15 protected the next 2.

Lopez to OKC talks are heating up, as well as KG to Minny.

  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears

1st rounder is still a 1st rounder. Can always package some lower 1sts to get a higher middle 1st or something. Idk...Philly is weird.

The real question though...when is Gerald Green getting traded?

Well, unless its 2018, then the 1st rounder becomes a 2nd rounder if OKC just happens to be one of the worst 15 teams in the league for the next 3 years lol.

So now Sarver is refusing to trade Dragic. What a d-bag move by the owner. But hey if he wants to screw his own franchise over, so be it. It took them less than 1 season to alienate their best player & leading scorer from last year.

Well, Dragic is kinda being a dick about it coming out in the media like he has, and saying he ONLY wants to go to LA, NY, or Miami. WTF is that? Also, like I said before, time changes a lot, they very well might believe that a 5th year on a long term contract, plus moves in the off season could change his mind. We'll see.

Dragic can opt out and sign with LA this offseason.

I'm aware of that. However, like I said, time can change things. The Suns could believe that they can still make some moves and win back his trust. Also, they are the only team that can offer a 5th year on a long term contract. I'm not predicting anything, just saying this is what the Suns could be thinking. :dunno:

They were extremely hesistant to give Bledsoe a 5th year, why would they automatically give one to Dragic? Goran has NO trust in the organization and I can totally see his point after the way they handled Bledsoe's contract this off season & turned Dragic into nothing more than a spot-up shooter on offense. And he actually bite his lip for the majority of this season about it. He finally just got to a point where he'd had enough. It happens.

As for him requesting those teams, all players have preferred destinations for a trade. It doesn't necessarily mean he won't get traded somewhere else. Those are just the teams I feel he was planning to look at in the offseason anyway so he'd like to be somewhere he knows he has a good chance of sticking long term.

KG is heading back to Minnesota. I love that move and this sets him up to join the organization in some capacity when he retires after this season.

As much as I couldn't stand his tactics at times, I always had respect for how hard KG worked and the incredibly loyalty he showed his entire career. It's a very rare thing in the NBA.

Edit: Goran Dragic traded to MIA (not sure of the package yet)

Thanks for correcting me again for something that hasn't happened. :dunno:

What the heck are you talking about? I gave you a reason why they wouldn't just sign him to a 5 year deal & why he doesn't trust the organization anymore.

Plus any points either of us made are moot because he's a member of the Miami Heat now.
