I appreciate that Emery shows commitment and conviction at least. Unlike wishy washy JA that blew a lot of opportunities by never making his mind up fast enough about Lovie.

Again, you have a very weird perception of "mad". I knew he would be signed in some capacity and that he will continue to fail. That was the case yesterday and it's still the case today. I'm just thankful that he's never going to see half of the contract out because I'd kinda like to win another Superbowl. Apparently you wouldn't.

Look at it this way, at least you and Sparty will be able to continue your trolling for a few years. Should be exciting for you guys.

Jester, your video makes it very difficult for me to move on to any other posts.

Now onto the actual topic, I like signing him but until I get exact numbers I can't tell you if I'm happy or disappointed

Mick, Cutler played well once he settled down this season. Remember he played his best games in the second year of Martz system so lets see how he plays in the second year of Trestman's system.

He will never play all 7 years it is just to spread the money out and not kill the cap.

Not sure I'd make this assumption. Cutler's what 30? Brady is still playing 36. I'm not saying Jay's as good as Brady is but even average QBs can hang around fro seemingly ever. How long was Charlie Batch a QB for? Now I do agree that he's unlikely to play under this deal for that long. Chances are it's back loaded and chances are by the end of it the Bears will want to renegotiate. But It wouldn't surprise me at all if Jay was still playing QB at 37.

Both need to watch their words carefully. I know Spartan and Bearmick aaren't happy, but please but civil guys.

To those who feel the need attack those two as well, please remain civil instead.

Are you fuckin serious?

I mean, personally, those two don't really bother me all that much.

But ffs, they are the ones that fueled any backlash they get now.

I agree that he wont see all his contract but we luckily get to see at least 3 to 4 years of you acting like a scorned woman. Now shut up, cheer for Jay and go make me a sandwich

I think he's talking about people attacking them in posts.

That actually is true. Its also been no secret that more years spent in a system, the better the QB usually performs.

Cutler's numbers were far from gaudy, but his INT % in the 2nd year of Martz's system went from 3.7 in 2010 to 2.2 in 2011.

This year he set a high for his TD% at 5.4, but his INTs were up to 3.4. However he did post the highest QB rating of his career at 89.2.

So we'll see if he becomes more stable in the system or not.

Those INTs are still going to happen though, thats just Cutler. I just hope the turnovers returned for touchdowns go down next year. Those are killer.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I hope its not the 18 mil avg for the first 3 seasons that I'm hearing. 18 mil a season for mediocrity.

He will always have a dumb int or two but what QB doesn't? I expect good things from here on out and even more improvement from the offense

My comments have been consistent. That you call them bashing makes you look like a meatheaded meatball.

Bearsbud isn't a bad guy, he's just dumb. The taunting from him and desperado are predictable but meaningless. Did you expect anything less? And are you really bothered by what people of their intellect say?
