Now you know this isn't going to happen Scoot, C'mon Man! Poor Sparty, I like the guy and have known him for years on the CBMB and here. Same goes for Bearmick too lol. But you start up fires and you're going to get burned.

If Sparty comes in here starting shit, going around forum filters, etc... He's going to be banned. Simply said.

So far bearmick has just stated his opinion that the Bears won't win a Super Bowl with Cutler. That is his opinion and his right to his opinion. He once wished injury upon Cutler before too. Also his opinion. I don't agree with it and don't think many people do agree with wishing injury upon anyone.

No point in throwing any shit. Spartan likes to troll and I genuinely feel that Bearmick just doesn't think Cutler is a good QB and didn't want him back.

I agree with Scoot, civil is best, no reason to be like these guys, however I did crack the biggest smile when I heard the news.

Are you fuckin serious?

I mean, personally, those two don't really bother me all that much.

But ffs, they are the ones that fueled any backlash they get now.

Just as PrideisBears and BearsBud have if Cutler stinks going forward at some point.

It's a funny pendulum that way.

I haven't seen anyone excited about the fact that this means Brandon Marshall will be a Bear for the rest of his career too!

I may have wished that a certain QB by the name of Rodgers might break his arm during a certain past game... So I can't be completely excluded from this.

Again, you have a very weird perception of "mad". I knew he would be signed in some capacity and that he will continue to fail. That was the case yesterday and it's still the case today. I'm just thankful that he's never going to see half of the contract out because I'd kinda like to win another Superbowl. Apparently you wouldn't.
Mick, I guess your new mantra is "he'll only last 2 more years", since you have stated it 3-4 times already. You're sorta like Dorthy repeating, "there is no place like home."
While I think the 7 years is to make the contract look bigger than it will ever actually be, sort of like Peppers, I doubt he is here less than 4 yrs. And your constant insistence that people that favor JC are JC fans before Bears fans is tired and weak. You don't like him, think he is a loser, wish he wasn't a Bear, those things are all fine, but that doesn't make you a better, smarter, or more passionate Bear fan. Just one that has a less favorable opinion of one of it's key players.

Very happy Slauson and Jennings is back but I wonder about Tillman?

Hell Cutler aggravates a lot of people around here, the guy has some bad habits. However, we have seen A LOT worse here in Chicago. My God I remember Kyle Orton literally putting me to sleep by his play(though I'd love to have neckbeard here as a backup). One thing Cutler will do is get you on your feet whether you are screaming at the television after a dumb mistake or a 60yd TD pass to Alshon.

Yeah that cap figures will be interesting to determine things going forward. I figured he'd get a 4 year deal, with 2 years worth of guaranteed money, but it seems like it'll be much more.

So going forward, I hope he improves in the system and most of all stays healthy. I just hope we bring back McCown for insurance if Jay goes down with an injury again since McCown has proven himself to be a reliable backup.

I also think Tillman is gone. Thats just my opinion. Age is not on his side and he could probably get a better deal elsewhere while the Bears rebuild the secondary (well the whole defense).
